The Eagle Battalion participated in the Sparkman High School Drill Meet in last month. The Eagle Battalion represented Columbia High School very well and won in the following categories:
Team Commander: Cadet CPT Joshua Howell
- Won 1st place in Armed Platoon Division Exhibition Drill
- Won 1st place in Armed Team Inspection
- Won 1st place in Armed Division Regulation Drill
Team Commander: Cadet LTC Jessica La
- Won 2nd place in Armed Color Guard
- Won 1st place in Unarmed Color Guard
Team Commander: Cadet MAJ Alyssa Howell
- Won 1st place in Unarmed Divison Exbition Drill
- Won 1st place in Unarmed Team Inspection
Team Commander: Cadet CSM Severo Daniel
- Won 2nd place on Army Physical Fitness Team
Individual Category: Cadet Ja’karee Leslie
- Won 3rd place in Knockout Drills out of 115 Cadets
This outstanding performance by the cadets earned them the title of Overall Drill Meet Champions!
