Special Olympics students from Jemison and Columbia High School standing in the gym

Columbia High School hosted the Jemison High Jaguars in a packed out gym with more spirit than the NBA Final Four!

It was a fantastic atmosphere andthanks to all of the Jag fans who attended to support their team! Just when you think it can’t get any better, it does! In the end, the Eagles were on top in score but we have a feeling that the Jags are on the cusp of something great… stay tuned!

We cannot say THANK YOU enough to the administrators, teachers, coaches, parents, students, and district staff for making this dream a reality! From practices to hosting mid-day games with full student attendance, any sporting event requires a lot of work, but EVERY school has made this a priority. EVERYONE BELONGS! Our “swishes” have come true!

We can’t wait to see everyone next week as the Generals from Lee will visit the GHS Tigers on Tuesday and the Jags will host the Panthers at Jemison on Thursday. We promise it’s the best way to spend a lunch hour!
