On March 7th-8th, 2024, as the FCCLA advisor, I had the privilege of accompanying two talented students to compete at the FCCLA State Competition held in Montgomery, Alabama. This event showcased the dedication and skills of numerous young leaders from across the state.

Our team, consisting of Elijah Lamb (12th grade) and Lexanna Rice (9th grade) displayed remarkable enthusiasm and commitment throughout the competition. They exemplified the core values of FCCLA – leadership, personal growth, and career preparation – in every challenge they faced.

I am delighted to announce that Elijah Lamb achieved an outstanding accomplishment, securing fourth place in Food Innovations. Elijah Lamb has also earned the prestigious honor of being an alternate for the upcoming National FCCLA Competition, which will take place this summer in Seattle, Washington. This remarkable achievement not only reflects Elijah Lamb’s hard work and determination but also highlights their exceptional talent and dedication to excellence.

Lexanna Rice also earned a bronze medal in the category Focus on Children. This achievement is a testament to Lexanna Rice’s exceptional skills and potential as a future leader in our organization and beyond.

I am immensely proud of both Elijah Lamb and Lexanna Rice for their exemplary performance and positive representation of our chapter at the state competition. Their success serves as an inspiration to all members of our FCCLA chapter and demonstrates the limitless opportunities that await those who embrace the FCCLA mission.

As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, let us continue to support and encourage the growth and development of our students as they embark on their journey towards future success.
