Our adaptive basketball game was a huge success and full of fun, memorable moments!
The goal and vision of these type of games are aimed to:
Address barriers and create recreational and competitive opportunities for our students with and without disabilities
Advocate for structural change that supports equitable opportunities for our students
Increase awareness about, knowledge of, access to, and participation in adaptive sports and fitness among our students with and without disabilities
Create equitable opportunities
Collaborate with units, departments, programs, and schools across our district.
