A picture of the Goliath Column

Ms. Barcoe and Mr. Smith took their Environmental Science classes to Cathedral Caverns to go spelunking (cave exploring)!

The students mined for gems at the old-fashioned sluice. Students were engaged with identifying the gemstones using a gem guide! Students toured the caverns and observed the natural beauty of cave formations.

A great time was had by all and we learned so much!!
