It's Tuesday and time to introduce our Army JROTC Cadet of the Week from the U.S. Army Cadet Command (ROTC),

Meet Tori Bartee, a sophomore at Columbia High School. Bartee joined JROTC to gain leadership skills and learn lifelong lessons.

"JROTC has gotten me to where I am today. It taught me to step out of my comfort zone and take leadership positions. It has taught me balance, commitment, and peer leadership."

Outside her JROTC commitments, Bartee excels academically and in her community. She is her class president and involved in numerous clubs. Bartee also runs cross country and plays volleyball and softball for Columbia High School.

S he loves dancing, traveling and working out.

When she graduates in two years, Bartee aspires to become a thoracic or trauma surgeon.
