The Columbia High School JROTC “Eagle Battalion” presented the Colors to kick off CAFY yearly event. CAFY, which stands for Community Awareness For Youth, began as a strategic initiative of The City of Huntsville and the Huntsville Police Department.

The program is designed to prepare the youth of Madison County for success as they venture into adulthood, enter the workforce or pursue higher education. CAFY began hosting this annual event for youth in August 2011.

The founders Dr. Harry Hobbs and Mrs. Erica Hobbs have special ties to the CHS Eagle Battalion as the 1st JROTC Senior Army Instructor.
