JuVaughn Harrison, Huntsville native and Columbia High School graduate will compete in the summer Paris Olympics.
JuVaughn is an American high jumper and long jumper. He won the silver medal in the high jump at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
JuVauaghn came in 3rd for the long jump in 2018 at the World Junior Championships.
He was the 7th place finisher at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
JuVaughn has won six national championships.

Ranked at No. 3 in the world going into the event, JuVaughn finished fourth in the high jump at the U.S. Olympic trials on June 30.
Now, he is getting a chance to compete for the Olympic medal in Paris! This will make his second Olympic appearance representing Team USA!
