Charger News - Week of September 25

Dear Charger Families & Stakeholders,

This week marks the 2nd week of Hispanic Heritage Month. Celebrating and recognizing the accomplishments of Hispanic Americans is another example of showing Pride in cultural diversity. This week's newsletter highlights our Hispanic Leadership Team who participated on a panel at Columbia High School, where they shared their personal experiences. Learning from other cultures' personal experiences highlights another word in the Power matrix - Empathy. Being able to show empathy allows you to see from another culture's perspective, which can impact your beliefs.

The core belief of a Chapman Charger is that we have POWER. This POWER comes from working together toward a shared vision. Despite diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences, creating a shared vision allows everyone to come together for transformative change. This transformation comes about when everyone realizes they have their own part to play in the transformative process. Any process takes time and a willingness to begin.
