This quarter's POWER matrix focus is on taking Ownership for our actions. The process of Reflecting is a learning focus to support accountability.
When you take the time to reflect on your actions, you open your mind to learning. Reflection provides the opportunity to celebrate and recognize accomplishments, successes, and areas of Pride.
The second part of reflection is in shifting your focus to areas of growth. Identify areas of growth and then be intentional in learning and growing in that area. Being able to receive feedback and have meaningful conversations allows for true growth.
This week's newsletter also highlights Mr. Sonny Rooks, former principal of Chapman Middle School, who visited this past Friday and spoke on Chapman Middle's rich and proud past. It also highlights Chapman's community of support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
