Dear Chapman Charger Families & Stakeholders,

This week marks the first full school week of the new year for scholars as well as teachers. Report cards went out this past Friday, January 5th. School will be closed on Monday, January 15th in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Learning Corner

It's a new year, with new resolutions - but the Chapman Chargers' commitment to our school vision remains the same. Before we can work together in a meaningful way, our individual dreams and aspirations must first be shared with one another. This is a reflection of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s timeless dream, which was shared with others in order for it to become reality.

As a learning community let's take the time to share our own personal dreams, visions, and aspirations with one another. Having open and ongoing conversations about personal visions and aspirations gives us Power to make them reality.

"Visions that are genuinely shared require ongoing conversation where individuals not only feel free to express their dreams, but learn how to listen to each others' dreams." -Peter Senge

Throughout the month of January, let's keep in mind Dr. King's dream by sharing our own personal dreams, visions and aspirations through open conversations/dialogue.

Let's hear about your personal dreams, visions and aspirations and then align them to our Chapman Charger POWER matrix vision of: Pride, Ownership, Working Together, Empathy and Respect.
