Dear Chapman Charger Families & Stakeholders,
This week marks the first week back from an extended weather break. As we get ready to re-engage in learning, this is a reminder that ACAP practice testing will take place on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Parents/Guardians, please assist in making sure your scholars get breakfast and adequate rest so that they are mentally prepared to do their best. Also, all scholars' computers need to be CHARGED UP, so that they can take the ACAP practice test.
Learning Corner
Before the weather break, our learning activity was to share personal visions/aspirations with others. The purpose of this activity is to begin creating a learning community grounded in a shared vision. Being able to articulate a personal vision promotes Self-Pride and Ownership in your future aspirations.
Each personal vision is like a puzzle piece. A single piece of the puzzle can't reveal the full picture but when combined with other pieces of the puzzle, it shows the full picture. So it is with a personal vision that is shared with others. When people truly share a vision, they are connected, bound together by a common aspiration.
The Chapman community can share Pride and Ownership in their academic growth. Check out this week's newsletter to celebrate Chapman being named in the Top 25 Most Improved on the state report card!
