Dear Charger Families and Stakeholders,

This week marks the last full week of March and the start of ACAP testing, which begins on Tuesday, March 26th. Scholars are encouraged to get enough sleep, eat breakfast and come prepared to give their best each day of testing. Also, please be reminded that report cards went home on Friday, March 22nd.

As we continue to highlight local women making history in Huntsville and the surrounding community, let's connect their stories to our own. One way to do that is to align their stories to our shared POWER matrix vision.

Learning Corner

Joining a family through marriage means being linked to others that may have different beliefs, assumptions and values than you. Despite these facts, the marital connection outweighs the differences. Being a part of a Team means being connected to others through a shared vision. The culture/climate vision of Chapman Middle is to cultivate a blended approach of family and team. This blended approach that combines the best of a family and team environment is called a TRIBE. A tribe is a group of people with a common culture that creates a feeling of belonging; in this group, there is a strong support system and a strong unifying bond.

During the last week of Women's History Month, let's connect more women making a positive impact in our local community to the Charger tribe.

Check out this week's newsletter to learn more about our Charger TRIBE that includes: scholars, teachers, staff, parents/guardians, and community stakeholders.
