Dear Charger Families and Stakeholders,

This week marks the second week of April and National Poetry Month. After this week there are five full weeks remaining in the school year.

With the official start of the spring season, there is an anticipation of new beginnings. The Huntsville City School district's Capital Plan represents new beginnings. To learn more about the district's proposed ten-year capital plan, attend the community meeting date for the Lee feeder pattern on April 10th.

Learning Corner

Connecting last week's learning focus of creating a Tribe like culture/climate means modeling our last word of the POWER matrix, Respect. Before there can be a feeling of belonging among others, there must first be a common level of respect. As a member of the Chapman Charger Tribe, let's show others how we want to be treated. Teaching others how you want to be treated by modeling it, can be more powerful than words.

Check out this week's newsletter to learn more ways our Charger TRIBE aspires to model respect through action.
