Chapman Middle's Student Government pumpkin contest winners holding their pumpkins in front of the Halloween display in the Charger Media Center.

The Student Government Association (SGA) hosted a lively pumpkin decorating contest this Halloween, inviting students to paint their most creative and festive pumpkins. The entries showcased incredible talent and imagination, making it a delightful experience for everyone involved.

After the votes were tallied, the excitement grew as the top three pumpkins were separated by just one vote! Camille Sweeney won first place with her charming Jack and Sally-inspired pumpkin. Karizma Hammonds secured second place with her fun Cookie Monster pumpkin, while Jude White wowed the crowd with his school-themed Charger pumpkin.

This year marked Chapman's inaugural pumpkin decorating contest, and the overwhelming consensus is that it should become a beloved Halloween tradition. The SGA did an outstanding job, significantly enhancing the school's Halloween spirit and making the holiday even more festive and fun!
