A group of students with Mr. Blue at the Botanical Gardens for a field trip.

The 6th graders of Chapman enjoyed an enriching field trip to the Botanical Gardens, significantly broadening their understanding of plant life, ecosystems, and conservation. This hands-on experience allowed students to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while reinforcing the knowledge they have acquired in class.

During the trip, students participated in guided classes that emphasized the importance of ecosystems and conservation. They explored various sections of the gardens, including the herb garden and vegetable garden, deepening their appreciation for different plant species and their roles in the environment. This field trip exemplified how learning extends beyond the classroom, providing students with valuable real-world experiences that enhance their education.
