Students seek advice from Isreal Raybon, a former NFL player and Homeland Security Agent, in the library on career day.

Chapman Middle School recently hosted an exciting Career Day, welcoming numerous community members to engage with students about various career options. This event provided students the opportunity to step away from their busy school day and explore how they can leverage their education to achieve their dreams.

In the gym, students enthusiastically moved from table to table, meeting representatives from esteemed organizations such as Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, Redstone Credit Union, Green Team City of Huntsville, and Huntsville Fire and Rescue, among others.

A standout moment of the day was the chance for students to engage in small group discussions with inspiring guest speakers. Isearl Raybon, a former NFL player and Homeland Security Agent, Mr. Orr, a master barber and former UNA football player, and Mr. Allen Noble, owner and chef of Noble Chef and 116 Noble, shared their valuable insights. They discussed their middle and high school experiences and how those shaped their paths to success. Students were captivated and inspired by their stories, which resonated deeply with them.

Overall, Chapman's Career Day was a resounding success, fostering community involvement and leaving students with a sense of inspiration and direction for their futures. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time, making it a memorable event for all.
