On display in the lobby is a student created banner that reads, "Minions Tonight We Steal the Gold" with drawn images of the minions and student signatures  to show support for our students participating in the Special Olympics.

The students of Chapman Middle showcased their talents and spirit at the Madison County Special Olympics. Participants engaged in both track and field events, demonstrating their hard work and determination. The halls of Chapman were filled with enthusiasm as students gathered to cheer on their team, proudly displaying banners and posters to encourage everyone involved.

The morning session featured thrilling running events, where athletes gave their all, resulting in smiles all around after the challenging competition. Following lunch, the focus shifted to the field events, where students participated in the standing long jump and softball throw. The atmosphere was filled with joy as we celebrated each participant's achievements.

Every athlete put forth their best effort in the competition, and plans for next year are already in the works. It was a day of pride and accomplishment for Chapman Middle, highlighting the dedication and spirit of our students.
