Our students and staff worked so incredibly hard to prepare to celebrate Black History at CES. A big thank you to classroom teachers in assisting students prepare for the program, our wonderful PTA, and Columbia's High School Jazz Band for providing the music!
CES will continue Read Across America activities this week - March 6th - 9th! We will be having guest readers, fun activities, prizes, and a lot of reading for students! Please encourage students to read AR books and take AR quizzes to win prizes and books!
Our teachers, staff, and students are working hard prepare for ACAP testing this spring. ACAP testing for 2nd and 3rd grade will be March 28th-March 31st. 4th-5th grade students will test April 4th-6th, 11th-12th, & 18th-19th. Attendance is important for ACAP testing! We would greatly appreciate your support with getting our students to school daily and scheduling appointments after testing times.
Friday, March 10th is an E-Learning Day which means your scholar will not report to campus on Friday of this week. Teachers will prepare students this week for instruction on Friday, School meals will be offered to students on Friday. It is limited to one meal per child per time listed below, meals must be consumed on site, and only during the following times:
- Breakfast 9:00am – 10:00am
- Lunch 11:00am – 12:00pm
