Hello everyone,
As we near the end of the 2023/2024 school year, I want to express my sincere appreciation to all members of our community for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. The commitment and effort shown by our students, faculty, and staff have been truly commendable.
2024 ACAP Reading scores have been released. The results show that 79% of our 2nd graders achieved scores within the proficient range, and 88% of our 3rd graders performed at a proficient level. The ACAP scores for 4th and 5th graders will be available in late July, and we will promptly distribute the reports to parents once they are ready.
Thursday, May 23rd, has been designated as a half day for students, with dismissal scheduled for 11:30 am. Friday, May 24th, has been designated as a "Remote Learning Day" for our scholars due to a previous weather-related school closure. Your child's teacher will provide workbooks and assignments for them to complete over the summer to make up for the missed day. It's important to note that there is no requirement to return completed work to the school, as the purpose is solely for enrichment and practice. If you have any questions on Friday, please reach out to your child's teacher by the end of the day. Their official start of the summer vacation will be at the end of the school day on Friday.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Challenger community for your unwavering dedication and support. It's a true joy to work alongside you in nurturing our students.
Best regards,
Ms. Joiner
