Farley Pre-K and Kindergarten had so much fun at our Book Club meeting yesterday afternoon! Every month, our book club enjoys a book together with a follow-up activity. We all participated in a read-aloud of The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Each child then used their creativity and fine motor skills during this lesson. The children exercised the muscles needed for a proper pencil grip by tearing up tissue paper and gluing it on their fish to design their unique rainbow fish. This is one of the ways we use play and hands-on learning in Pre-K and Kindergarten at Farley Elementary School!
