Pre-K students surrounding a teacher table with teacher's aide, Ms. Dull.

Hands on science is so much fun!  During our author study of Dr. Seuss, Pre-K learned a new word, oobleck. This led to so much messy fun!  What is a solid?  What is a liquid?  Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid meaning it has properties of both liquids and solids.  You can play at home too by mixing 1 1/2 cups of cornstarch with 1 cup of water.
