Pre-K students sitting on the carpet watching a science experiment.

Farley Pre-K had a fun, hands on science lesson with The Nutty Scientist!  It was the perfect mix of hands on, educational fun for Pre-K.  We began by learning about the molecules of a rain drop.  We watched the “rain drop splash” in a bucket when they hit the ground to visualize the composition of a rain drop.  We watched as water slowly dripped to show how much water we can waste just by not turning the faucets all the way off.  We learned about how polymers and additives added to plants help them absorb water runoff.  Not only did we learn about this, but we got to do a hands on lesson to experiment with this as well.  We learned about physics Newton’s Law and again got to experiment and witness the difference in motions.  We are so thankful and learned so much while we had fun!!
