Farley 5th grade had an amazing time at Alabama 4-H Science School! They worked together with their groups to complete team building challenges and played games to promote team work. They collected, examined, and identified macro invertebrates from the lake. Students learned the importance of survival skills by building a shelter and starting a fire. Many natural walks and hikes were taken to observe producers, consumers, and decomposers, as well as taking in the beautiful views. At night they learned about astronomy and had a campfire. Students also got to enjoy roasting marshmallows and singing fun camp songs. It was a great trip of learning and fun!
