The Instructional Technology Class at Goldsmith-Schiffman participated in the Hour of Code Week December 5-11, 2022. The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to show that anybody can learn the basics of code and to broaden the participation in the field of computer science. Students at GSES used Code.org to participate in the celebration. Students also have ITC classes bi-weekly to promote computer science and coding basics using blockly code. Younger students partnered with older students during this week to work with their peers and celebrate computer science.
