Goldsmith-Schiffman Elementary School had an amazing visit by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab from Dauphin Island, Alabama. Students learned how far Huntsville is from the Gulf of Mexico and what animals are native to the Gulf. Students had the opportunity to see the skeletons of fish, a whale, and a shark! They also enjoyed touching various ocean species including the giant sea turtle shell.
