GreenPower USA is an exciting organization that focuses on teaching students about renewable energy through hands-on experiences with electric vehicles. This program not only encourages teamwork and creativity but also helps students understand important concepts like engineering, physics, and environmental science. By participating in Goblin Racing, young learners discover how electric energy works and the benefits of using clean energy sources, all while having a great time competing with their friends! One of their fun programs is Goblin Racing, where students build and race small electric cars called Goblins. This past Saturday, the GSES Golden Racers did an awesome job at the Goblin Races held at Grissom High. They had fun participating and learned the importance of good teamwork and excellent sportsmanship. The team competed in three racing styles: the Slalom Race, which involved driving between narrow cones; the Drag Race; and the Circuit Race, where their car drove two laps around the track. We are so proud of the hard work they put in! Congratulations to Emmie, Hope, Cason, Ella, Natalie, Mikael, Jon-Michael, Georgia, Jack, and Jonah for their impressive efforts and achievements!
