2nd Graders and their butterflies

In Mrs. Yokley's class, the students are diving into the fascinating world of butterflies by learning about their life cycle. They began by observing caterpillars in their classroom, watching as they transformed into chrysalises and eventually emerged as beautiful butterflies. Mrs. Yokley guided her students through each stage of the life cycle: egg, larva (caterpillar), pupa (chrysalis), and adult butterfly. The class discussed the changes that occur at each stage and how the butterflies play an important role in nature. The students also created colorful artwork to illustrate their newfound knowledge, making the lesson both fun and educational. Mrs. Yokley’s hands-on approach sparked excitement and curiosity, making the butterfly life cycle come to life for her eager learners!
