Goldsmith-Schiffman Elementary proudly celebrated its remarkable Military Kids during Purple Up Day, a time dedicated to honoring the strength, resilience, and pride of students who support their families in unique ways. A heartfelt thank you goes to Ms. Debbie Maddry from the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) for her special participation. She engaged our military-connected students by reading "You Are BRAVE" and facilitating a meaningful writing activity, where students expressed their pride in their parents' military service. We also extend our gratitude to the wonderful PTA for creating a bulletin board that showcased the students' heartfelt writings. Our GSES Owls wore purple with pride, embodying the spirit of service within our school community. This event highlights the importance of recognizing our military families and the invaluable contributions of our young heroes.
