Good Afternoon Senior Parents and Students,
It has been brought to my attention that there has been a miscommunication about the recognition of scholars at next week's Graduation. I'd like to take a moment to clarify this concern. Grissom is proud to recognize our Magna Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude graduates. For reference, Magna Cum Laude graduates have earned a 3.75-3.99 GPA throughout high school, and Summa Cum Laude graduates have earned a 4.0 or higher GPA. These individuals will be recognized in the graduation program, and will don the silver (Magna) and gold (Summa) cords that correspond with their achievement. We are excited for Graduation in two weeks and look forward to celebrating the Class of 2024 and their many accomplishments!
