Hawk News from The Principal 4/3

Fourth and fifth grade gave the ACAP everything they had this week. We are more than proud. (We are proud of all of our students)!

Thank you again to parents and PTA for providing snacks for our scholars and teachers. Your notes of encouragement to the kids and teachers were absolutely invaluable. Thank you!

Students can purchase a slice of Domino's pizza in the cafeteria for lunch on April 18th and May 2nd.

Due to our Mystery field trips being on different days, teachers are updating grade-level specific deadlines for reaching their AR goals.

We will continue to operate under our alternate schedule for this week. Remember we request that we have no lunch visitors during this time. We have worked to reduce test anxiety as best we can and believe our students will rock the ACAP assessments. Please ensure students are on time so that we can begin testing as soon as possible. If students arrive after testing has begun, they will be sent to an alternative location in the building and will need to make up the test they missed. Thank you for your support in this endeavor.

Both of our K for A Day sessions are at capacity. If you were not able to register, do not worry! We will have our orientation and Kindergarten Popsicle Social prior to the beginning of school.

Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open! Please remember that students will not be placed in a class until the student is fully registered for the 23-24 school year. We plan to send cards as we have done before. You don't want to be the only one who does not receive a placement card when they go out in JULY!!!

Please continue to inform us if your student tests positive for COVID.
