Hampton Cove Elementary School

Members of the 4th grade G.A.T.E. class are leading an effort to promote sustainable practices here at HCES! As part of that endeavor, these students researched sustainability, met with community partners, and designed an entire lesson. This lesson was delivered to the entire 4th grade class during which they taught on the importance of using reusable shopping bags as opposed to plastic ones. At the end of the lesson, they helped the 4th grade students design their own canvas shopping bags!
