Hampton Cove Elementary School

On April 11th, four HCES G.A.T.E. students attended the Huntsville City Council meeting where they petitioned the council to bring recycling to all schools in the district. As part of their project, they researched the logistics of bringing recycling to schools, met with Mr. Holliday of RANA to create a cost analysis, and developed a presentation outlining their request. These students were also treated to a private tour of City Hall, courtesy of Councilmember Little. These students did a magnificent job representing Hampton Cove Elementary!
