- We are sending home parent log in information for power school with our progress reports on September 7th, 2023.
- WOW! Alice Meko won the National PTA Theme search contest, and her idea is the National Theme this year.
- Alabama A&M decided to allow all HCS Students K-12 free admission to this year's home football games at Louis Crews Stadium, excluding Homecoming. This is an excellent opportunity for our students, and it expresses A&M continued effort to a be a great partner with Huntsville City Schools.

We had another good week, and we completed our Fall iReady Diagnostics in Math and Reading. We are digging through the data so we can instruct our students effectively and efficiently! The last Fall placement diagnostic we participate in is STAR Reading. Our students will participate in STAR next week in their Reading/ELA classes.
Thank you to all our families that have joined our PTA and to those that supported Running of the Bulls (ROB) on Saturday! ROB was a big success! Our students, teachers and staff are so lucky to have such an active and supportive PTA. If you have not joined yet - please consider it!
