  • Thanks in advance for your help; We are not wearing Costumes at school on October 31.
  • Thinking about high school? Our 8th grade students may want to consider spending a day "shadowing" at New Century High School.
  • Your child has homework! Each student is expected to complete 50 minutes and pass two lessons in both iReady Reading and iReady math.
  • Color Wars is back! Grade levels will compete to show the most grade level spirit by wearing any shirt in their grade level color. 8th grade = black, 7th grade = gray, 6th grade = red. The winning Grade level will have a celebration the following Tuesday during homeroom.  Our next Color War date is November 17.
  • Yearbooks are on sale!
  • Three students were highlighted this week for Being Unbelieve-A-Bull!  Ms. Redpath noticed Madison McGee always volunteers to help teachers and students in and out of the classroom, Ms. Bacon noticed DeArmond Burke is helpful, kind, and patient to his peers and Ms. Fife noticed Madeline Schatz coordinated the Say No To Drugs Poster Project. She is always friendly, polite, a hard worker, and she is a natural born leader.

Greeting Bulls,

Our math and reading teachers will begin entering classrooms grades for student's work within their iReady Math and Reading Individualized Pathways. Grades will be based on students completing fifty minutes and passing two lessons in both subjects each week. Students have time during school to complete a large portion of the assignment but may need to work at home as well. The iReady Platform directly aligns with our state standards and enhances our preparation for ACAP. We are excited to see how our students advance in achievement and growth. Thanks for your help.

Go Bulls!
