- Color Wars is back! Grade levels will compete to show the most grade level spirit by wearing any shirt in their grade level color. 8th grade = black, 7th grade = gray, 6th grade = red. The winning Grade level will have a celebration the following Tuesday during homeroom. Our next Color War date is January 26.

- NJHS applications are now open! Applications will be accepted until Friday, January 5, 2024.
- December 15, 2023 is a half day. Dismissal is at 12:00. Students will participate in our 1st semester PBIS Celebration!

We are heading in the right direction! Our students participated in the mid-year iReady reading and math diagnostics this week and we showed solid growth! We are increasing the student performing in the green band (on and above grade level) and decreasing the students in the yellow (one grade level below) and red (three of more grade levels below). iReady is a criterion referenced platform that develops an individualized student learning pathway based on Alabama's math and reading standards. Thank you for checking with your students to ensure they complete 50 minutes and pass two lessons in both reading and math each week!
