Two students from Hampton Cove Middle School were selected to perform in the Honor Choir at the 2025 ACDA National Conference in Dallas, TX. More than 5,000 students in middle and high schools throughout the United States auditioned. The prestigious ACDA National Honor Choir will perform on March 22 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center—considered one of the world’s best concert halls, and well-known for its exceptional acoustics.

The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is a nationally recognized nonprofit membership organization with a mission to inspire excellence and nurture lifelong involvement in choral music for everyone through education, performance, composition, and advocacy.

Approximately 6,000 individuals are expected to attend the National Conference March 18-22 in Dallas—the premier gathering for choral music professionals—from legends in the field to emerging professionals. The conference attracts vocalists, educators, conductors, composers, and choral industry partners from around the world.

Approximately 300 students were selected through a competitive blind nationwide-audition to join the 5-7 Treble Honor Choir, directed by Marcela Molina, Executive Director of the Tucson Girls Chorus and Director of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Participating vocalists include:  Cadence Gregory and Jackson Kelley.

“Selection for the ACDA National Honor Choir is truly humbling, and reflects the artistry, skill, and dedication of the students who make up the choir given the thousands of talented vocalists from around the country who audition,” said Joe Whitaker, Choir Director Hampton Cove Middle School.
