On April 4, 2025, Principal Dr. Headen, surprised the librarian, Deborah Delacey with a beautiful plant and a bag of special gifts on Librarians' Appreciation Day. According to TTGC (Tempositions Group of Companies), " Librarian's Appreciation day is a time to recognize the dedicated professionals who connect people with knowledge, resources, and lifelong learning. Librarians play a vital role in education, research, and community engagement, ensuring that everyone has access to information in an increasingly digital world." Ms. Delacey has served as the librarian at Highlands for three years. Students made "Thank You" cards for her that she displayed in her office. You're appreciated Ms. Delacey! Soar Hawks!
