Seven HHS students have been honored by the National Center for Women & Information Technology. Each year, the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) recognizes students and educators for their accomplishments and goals in computing and technology. Over 3500 high school student applications and more than 140 Educator applications from all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, overseas U.S. military bases and Canada.
The 2023 high school and educator awards are recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, future goals and support of women and non-binary individuals in computing and technology. Each recipient of the National Award National Honorable Mention, Affiliate Award, Affiliate Honorable Mention and Rising Star awards receives an individual trophy and swag prizes. The school will receive an award listing all awardees.
