Huntsville High School

On the 25th of February, 2023, it was announced that a Huntsville High School Space Force JROTC StellarXplorers team qualified for the National Finals with the highest qualifying score in the country.  The Space Panthers team of DJ Fisher, Shepherd Howley, Ayden Taylor, Wesley Headrick and Joseph McCallion along with 10 other teams from across the nation qualified for Nationals that will be taking place in Houston, Texas, from April 20th to the 22nd.  They scored an outstanding 81.219, far higher than any of their competitors.  During the competition they determined satellite orbits, chose launch vehicles, launch locations and satellite elements.
