Huntsville won the state Dual Meet tournament championships in January and followed it up with winning the individual state championships this past weekend at the Von Braun Center. HHS won the 7A title with 211.5 points with the runner up team only scoring 166.5 points.
Added to the accomplishment of the first Traditional Wrestling State Championship in school history the 211.5 points was a new state record. With 10 placers and 4 state champs and 2 other finalists, its apparent who had the most complete team.
