Last month Huntsville High School’s Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) program supported the athletes in adaptive basketball. We made posters for each player during panther hour using glitter to make sure they could spot their name in the crowd! We painted the cheerleader’s faces with basketballs and HHS before each game. For each game, we stepped out in front of the crowd to help the cheerleaders do their cheers and throw mini basketballs into the student section. We even participated in half-time dancing. We also traveled to Alabama A&M to support and cheer on the team to win the adaptive basketball championship.
