Huntsville City Schools launched an adaptive basketball league this school year. This league provided resource students from the five Huntsville City high schools the opportunity to participate in an organized sport.

The season consisted of 4 regular season games and a final tournament held at Alabama A&M University. Huntsville High School went into the City Tournament as the second seed. After beating Columbia High School, we moved to the championship round to face Lee High School. Through hard work, a lot of heart, and determination, Huntsville High School rose to the top and became the Huntsville City Adaptive League Champions.

Through this league, our students learned the value of teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. We are so thankful for the love and support that was shown to us at every game by our wonderful student body and staff. The support shown by the Huntsville High School family gave our students a confidence boost both on and off the court.

We look forward to bringing home the title of Huntsville City Adaptive Basketball Champions again next season!
