Huntsville High School

On Saturday the 20th of April, the Huntsville High School Math Team took part in a prestigious competition hosted by Grissom High School. Each member played well, even though it was the first competition for most of our teammates. The competition featured a four-person free response session with multiple rounds followed by an individual multiple-choice session. The questions may have been hard, but we played harder. Those who took part included seniors Shawn Langseth, Drew Blankenship, Matthew Hutcherson, Daniel Starnes, and Victoria Ballard as well as juniors Landen Hegwood, Cameron Wiggs, and Todd Sims. Thank you to Mrs. Parker-Jones for managing our team and organizing everything! We look forward to seeing how we’ll perform next year as more people join the Math Team!
