Last week, Huntsville High School held its annual Student Council elections for the 2024/2025 school year. As the apex of student governance at HHS, the Student Council plays a pivotal role in organizing numerous events throughout the academic year. Among these, the grandest affair is undoubtedly Homecoming, featuring a vibrant parade, the coronation of the Homecoming Court, spirited festivities during the game, and, of course, the memorable dance.

The elections this year showcased a thrilling showdown between two formidable candidates: Jack Messervy and Kyle Wegler, vying for the prestigious position of Student Council President. In a closely contested race, Jack Messervy emerged victorious, poised to lead the student body with enthusiasm and dedication in the coming year.
