Last week marked the highly anticipated elections for next year's class officers among the 10th and 11th graders at HHS. While the incoming freshman class eagerly awaits their turn in the fall, these elected representatives play integral roles within the school's Student Government, contributing to various events throughout the academic year. Notably, the Junior class orchestrates the annual highlight, the Junior/Senior Prom.
The outcome of the elections proved to be both exhilarating and unexpected, as several incumbents from the current Junior and Sophomore classes were unseated. Among the surprises were the defeats of the Junior class President, Vice President, and Parliamentarian, along with the current President and Secretary of the Sophomore class. The atmosphere at HHS was buzzing with excitement throughout the week, reflecting the significance of these democratic processes within the student body.
