The boys and girls golf teams traveled to RTJ Shoals for the 7A section 4 tournament on Monday April 29th. The boys finished as runner up to Florence shooting a team score of 308 and advanced to the Substate round in Birmingham. Leading the team was Sam Rice shooting a 74 and finishing 2nd overall individually. Cam Mahathey followed with a 76, Bryson Spearman a 78, and Gavin Carney carded an 80.
Congratulations also go out to Annclaire Shultz for qualifying as an individual to Substate after winning a sudden death playoff. The team wrapped up the season at Timberline Golf Club on May 6th with a good showing at the North Substate tournament.
