As we begin a new school year at Huntsville High, exciting news emerges about our students who took the ACT during the previous school year. The 30 Club consists of students who scored a 30 or above on the ACT. Our principal, Mrs. Kari Flippo, created this club as a promise to the students who took the ACT and achieved the highest scores possible. These students demonstrate a strong work ethic and exhibit test taking abilities.

One of our 30 Club members, Isabelle Alejo, shared her feelings about being part of this prestigious group: "It's the benefits of the club and how it makes me feel accomplished and good about myself." She also highlighted some of the tangible advantages of being in the club, stating, "Feeling like you accomplished something is one of the benefits, getting free prom and homecoming tickets is a definite bonus, as is having more of an advantage getting into colleges." At Huntsville High, students are held to the highest standards of learning to achieve greatness, and these students are a prime example of that. When asked what she hopes being in the 30 Club will do for her future, Isabelle said, "getting into a good college and just making the college process better in the long run."

Clearly, the 30 Club not only recognizes the hard work of our students but also helps pave the way for their future success. We strive to do our best and make fond memories, and the achievements of our 30 Club members inspire all of us to reach for excellence.
