A group of theatre students having fun showing off their paper bag puppets

Many of Huntsville High Theatre’s students spent the last weekend of August participating in theatre camp, a yearly activity where students involved in the Trumbauer One-Act Competition abscond to the woods to bond and work on the competition one-act. This year, the one-act is an original piece titled Heart of Rust: A Surewood Story, based primarily on the myths of Robin Hood. While at camp, students got the chance to get to know each other, play games, and create a fantastic paper bag puppet show. They also wrote original music, learned more about functioning as an ensemble, and designed the various technical elements of the show. A great time was had by all!
