Huntsville High School German students were invited to attend the second annual “Germany on Campus” event at the university of North Alabama. The event was organized and sponsored by Dr. Rebecca A. Linam who is a German instructor at UNA. The interactive exhibition showcased the UNA German Department as well as the German Club, and several other departments that apply to German Language acquisition. The Albama Germany Partnership organization, Spark for German, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) were represented. German Companies in Alabama like Mercedes Benz, Evonik, Schönox, Hago Automotive, and Küberit all showed students the many opportunities they have as German language learners. Matthew Grace won the mock job interview with Kordt & Co and received a $100 gift card. The students learned and experienced many new things and enjoyed visiting the campus.
